Mercado del Pueblo

The only farmers market in Nayarit runs every Friday from November through May on Calle Revolucion. Around 80 vendors sell organic produce, coffee, flowers, artisan foods, handmade jewelry, and cheese. Everything must be grown or made by the seller. Live music plays each Friday morning. Founded in 2009 as part of the Slow Food Movement, the market donates proceeds to community projects.
