The town is small hotels on walkable streets, and the closest thing to a meal plan is breakfast, which 4 of them include. The real resorts start about twenty minutes away by car. Iberostar Selection Playa Mita, near Punta de Mita, is the closest big one. Bucerías has the Grand Decameron, and Nuevo Vallarta, around half an hour south, has the biggest cluster. Puerto Vallarta, past the airport, has its own resort strips in Marina Vallarta and the Hotel Zone.
