Sayulita Surf Center

Sayulita Surf Center is a surf shop and ocean outfitter in the Sayulinda Hotel building on Manuel Navarrete, a block from Sayulita's main break. Its website introduces Diego Cadena, a Sayulita native whose family surfed and fished. The site says his father taught him to fish at seven and that surfing later earned him professional sponsorships. Lessons last 90 minutes, private or in groups of up to 12. They open with paddling and standing up, then instructors place each student in the beginners' zone or at the main peak by level. An extra hour of board use is included. Boat trips leave from the beach two blocks away, where a tractor pushes the boat into the surf. The inshore combo runs four to five hours and pairs two of fishing, snorkeling and surfing. The surf stop is La Bahía, a boat-only wave off the St. Regis. Fishing, spearfishing and fly-fishing trips stay in Banderas Bay or go offshore all day. Ceviche from the catch is included offshore, but the site is unclear whether it costs extra on shorter trips. Dates and inclusions are worth confirming. Bookings are paid in full a day ahead and refunded only if the shop cancels.
